September 2000 – International Bethany Community Church begins full schedule of services in Houston, TX

In August 1999, Pastor Richard Pranoto, and Pastor Meilini Pranoto arrived in Houston, TX. They followed God’s vision to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and planted International Bethany Community Church in Texas. One year after their arrival, in September 2000, Pastor Richard Pranoto, and Pastor Meilini Pranoto along with a few congregations, gathered together in Holiday Inn where they held for first Sunday Service.

February 2001 – International Bethany Community Church begins full schedule of services in Dallas, TX

In December 2000, Pastor Richard Pranoto, and Pastor Meilini Pranoto began to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in Dallas, TX. They held their first Sunday Service in February 2001 at Winngate Hotel. God’s work through Pastor Richard Pranoto and Pastor Meilini Pranoto did not stop only in Dallas, TX. In 2004, International Bethany Community Church opened a new church in Kansas City, Missouri.

Pastor Richard Pranoto and Pastor Meilini Pranoto reflect on the beginning:

In 1993, God gave us a clear vision to make desolate cities inhabited with praise and worship for HIM. In order to fulfill God’s vision, we surrendered our life to be His instrument as a full time minister in 1997. One year after we became full time minister, God sent us to be His light for every nation.

We always believe that people from every nation need Jesus Christ to be the one and only Savior in their life. And by God’s grace in our ministry, many churches have been planted in several nations, such as, in Indonesia, China, United States, Philippines, and Africa. While we plant God’s churches in those nations, He shows His faithfulness to us, and fulfills our every need according to His promises.

We have our formal commitment in International Bethany Community Church, because we believe that high commitment is extremely important in this low commitment world, and we believe people need Jesus Christ to become their savior.
